200 weeks ago from today was 22 Jan 2021, a Friday. Anytime we’re subtracting halves of the year, we need to ensure that we’re still in 2024. It looks like 200 weeks from now will bring us back to pre 2023 and we’ll need to factor this into our subtraction because it will change the calendar and fiscal years. For larger calculations like this, I start by subtracting total days, then counting backwards 1400 days on a calendar until getting my solution of Friday January 22, 2021.
All of our day calculators are measured and QA'd by our engineer. Read more about the Git process here. But here's how 200 weeks ago gets calculated on each visit:
200 weeks is Friday January 22, 2021 or could be if you only want workdays. This calculation takes 200 weeks and only subtracts by the number of workdays in a week. Remember, removing the weekend from our calculation will drastically change our original Friday January 22, 2021 date.
