40 days from today is 30 Jun 2024, a Sunday. Calculating over the equivalent days of a month means multiple weeks, multiple weekends and officially crossing into June from the end of May. Since today is Tuesday and still part of the beginning of the week we won't need to add additional days into next week. Key difference with adding days that span a full month is that shorter calculations might only require counting days and possibly adjusting for a single weekend. Adding 40 days across May requires us to account for multiple weekends, work schedules, and the specific nuances of being in the end of May jumping to June.
All of our day calculators are measured and QA'd by our engineer. Read more about the Git process here. But here's how adding 40 days to today's date gets calculated on each visit:
Sunday Sunday June 30, 2024 is the 182 day of the year or 49.86% through 2024.
40 days is Sunday June 30, 2024 or could be Tuesday July 16, 2024 if you only want workdays. This calculation takes 40 days and only adds by the number of workdays in a week. Remember, removing the weekend from our calculation will drastically change our original Sunday June 30, 2024 date.
